Ceejay’s commission pricing guide, as of December 2023

2D ART:

Unless I explicitly mention I am open for them, I will not take any requests for 2d commissions. When I open for them, I will give an example style and pricing, which will be different every time.

FULLY CUSTOM 3D AVATARS:

VR avatars are built explicitly for VRChat, but can be used in Resonite or Blender. A general “fursona model” would fall under this category, as it would be built in a flexible, reasonably optimized, and non destructive way.

Avatars start at $800, which includes the necessary setup to get it functional in VRChat, and 4 complementary expressions of your choice.

Avatar Base Price – $800, plus:

• Extra expressions – $50 per two (The first four expressions are free)
• Complex appendages – $100 per set (wings, digi legs)
• Shader changes – $100 each (goo mode, latex mode, color wheels or texture changers)
• Clothing layers (toggleable) – $100 per set
• Basic blend shapes – $100 each (medium-sized growth sliders)
• Complex features – $400 each (blimp sized inflation, complicated transformations)

Your avatar will NOT be Quest compatible, and if your avatar has growth sliders or animations, it will likely have a higher polycount and texture memory impact than your average optimized avatar.

ANIMATIONS:

The effort my animations take, and therefore the pricing, are heavily dependent on how much I have to build and therefore fluctuate wildly. Let this estimate serve as a rough guide. Pricing is not final.

(Note: If you want YOUR fursona or an OC in your animation, I will have to build it, and you will have to refer to the pricing guide below. If you desire an animation but also have interest in your model being VR ready, please specify ahead of time, and refer to the pricing guide above. Animations can be made for your VR model at a heavily discounted price.)

Animation Base Price – $300 for ~30 seconds with audio work, plus:

• Rigged Character Model – $500 each (human, furry, etc. NOT VR READY.)
• Object of Focus – $100 each (What your OC turns into, or an important prop, or post-TF)
• Specified Background – $100-$200+ per scene (Varies depending on how many objects to create from scratch.)
• Voice Acting – $100 per 1 minute of runtime (HIGHLY dependent on the idea)
• Extra Runtime – ~$100 per extra 30 seconds, up to 2 minutes. (EXTREMELY variable)

My characters and their finished models can be used in your animation for free, as long as I am comfortable with the idea.

PAYMENT:

Payments are split in either 2 or 4 installments, sent via PayPal invoice. Your quote will not be considered final until you receive your first invoice. Work will not begin on your commission until after you pay your first installment. Your commission will not be delivered until the final installment is paid. You will be sent WIPs periodically. Turnaround time between first payment and the finished product can take up to 6 months.

If your payment is split into 4 installments, I will complete a specified amount of work prior to each installment. Further work will begin once each installment is paid, up to the final invoice.
